SENIORS & PARENTS OF SENIORS TAKE NOTE!
Registration for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (“FAFSA”) opens on October 1, 2019! If the FAFSA application is started on October 1, 2019, the Senior will be eligible to win a FREE TICKET TO SIX FLAGS (a total of 2 tickets will be given out) and there will be drinks and snacks available.
The Counselors at DESA are urging all Senior Parents to come to the DESA Media Center and, at least, start their FAFSA registration on October 1, 2019 at 5:00 pm. You will be able to use a computer to start your registration or you may bring your own laptop. There are several pieces of information or documents you’ll need to have handy during the registration process. See the image below or visit the Federal Student Aid website for more information.
Completing the FAFSA registration allows your student to be eligible to be considered for Federal grants, work-study, scholarships and loans. The Counselors are aiming to get 100% of the senior FAFSAs at least started on October 1, 2019! Feel free to contact your Counselor with additional questions.
